Partnership with Parents
At Holyrood Nurseries, we value our partnership with parents. We aim to give support to our parents using the facilties Holyrood Nurseries have to offer and value any input our parents have. We aim to do this by making observations on the children and sharing this information verbally and through each child's daily sheets.
Regular newsletters are sent home and displayed on our 'Newsletters' page on the website. This is to keep parents up to date of current nursery events. You can find all upcoming events at the nursery displayed on the 'Upcoming Events' page of this website. The parent's notice board at the entrance to the nursery is available to keep parents informed of every aspect of nursery life.
We aim to involve parents in their child's care as much as it is possible through making sure they have access to all their child's development records and to encourage parents to help out with trips and collecting items for the nursery. The pre-school room hold regular parents evenings where everyone is welcome. Staff also hold regular meetings with parents in order to discuss any concerns or issues they may have.
We also operate a key worker system to ensure continuity of care.
