Our Rooms
Baby Room 1
Simply beautiful! Offering stimulating and challenging toys whilst also providing a large sensory area with lights, mirrors & music where children can use all senses.
Baby Room 2
Slightly older now and if not already walking, the large space will provide plenty of opportunity to practise, a sensory area is also provided this time mainly used as a quiet time out & story area, the children have the freedom to toddle in and choose a book themselves, have a lie down or play with cuddle toys. Water and sand play are a favourite in this room.
Baby Room 3/3+
Here we have two rooms; the larger room is used for large group activites whilst the smaller room can be used for one to one or small activities such as baking. This room also gives us the chance to assess and evaluate each childs individual needs.
Tweenie 1
A fun and challenging room where children can explore their creativity. Toys are now slightly harder and more stimulating for this age.
Tweenie 2
In here children have many opportunities to role play and use their ever growing imagination. Their vocabulary is well on its way and therefore role play is heaps of fun. Lots of creative activities in here painting, sticking, playdough, basically the messier the better! Please don't underestimate the importance of many fun activities, children learn most through fun, fun, fun!!
Toddler 1
In Toddler 1, the children mostly like the messy activities - they love every opportunity to get sticky or play with the paint. Singing is also popular, along with action rhymes, and counting songs. These get the very children excited and involved, encouraging them to socialise. At this stage, we introduce the children to potty/toilet training.
Toddler 2
In here children enjoy role play, they explore everything through role play. Again lots of creative activities to enhance the childs imagination.
Toddler 3
As this room is before the Pre-School, we are preparing our children by learning self help skills such as washing own hands and faces. We have lots of age appropriate toys to help witht he chidlrens development. We have a qualified teacher who works in here two days a week working towards th foundation stage.
Pre-School
In Pre-School we do lots of exciting things to widen our knowledge of the world. We go on fun nature trails and trips to the farm and zoo. This year we went to Blackpool Zoo, the children loved it!! In Pre-School we learn about all the different cultures from aroun the world. We taste lots of food and try lots of new activities. Listening to different types of music & dancing is defiantely the favourite.To encourage early IT skills there is a computer constantly offering stimulating, exciting and challenging programmes. Children can access themselves or have help from a nursery nurse.

On Tuesday afternoon, we have a ballet class with our lovely teacher, Anna from Glenda Ann School of Dancing.
Outside Play Area
Our main play area has been based around the scene of a garden with bright, colourful insect, mini beasts and flowers everywhere.
In addition to this we have purchased outside construction shapes - these are large plastic objects made from different shapes, colours and sizes. These can be slotted together by the children to create anything they want.
Painted on the ground are physical games such as balance beams, hopscotch and footprints etc. A large amount of physical activities are available. These include play house, large wooden apparatus centre, swings, slides, bikes, see-saws and much much more.
Pre-School Play Area
Most recently developed, offering fantastic opportunities for outside play. Continuous provision is always available (weather permitting). This includes wall displays outside including target practice, colours, numbers, chalk boards and much more!
Holiday Club
Our brand new holiday club room is located on the first floor of the nursery. A large spacious room with its own computer plus numerous amounts of toys and equipment. Children are encouraged to plan their own activities with the nursery nurses, giving them a sense of belonging and self importance and responsibility.
